Despite facing multiple delays and setbacks, Ubisoft isn&#8217;t giving up on the project, and now, there&#8217;s finally some good news. The game, developed by Ubisoft Montpellier, has lost its producer, but a new leadership team has been brought in to push the project forward.<\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Originally unveiled at E3 2017 to widespread excitement, the game has experienced a turbulent development cycle. Tragedies struck, including the death of creative director Emile Morel and the controversial departure of <em>Rayman<\/em> creator Michel Ancel due to accusations of &#8220;toxic leadership.&#8221; Now, producer Guillaume Brunier has left the team, but Francis Coldeboeuf, who led development on <em>Far Cry 6<\/em>, has stepped in to take over the project.<\/p>\n<p>According to Ubisoft, Coldeboeuf has already been involved in the development and is familiar with the project&#8217;s intricacies, which positions him well to guide the team towards completion.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Positive Feedback from Ubisoft on Beyond Good and Evil 2&#8217;s Progress<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Despite the many challenges, there are encouraging signs of progress.
