Originally unveiled at E3 2017 to widespread excitement, the game has experienced a turbulent development cycle. Tragedies struck, including the death of creative director Emile Morel and the controversial departure of Rayman<\/em> creator Michel Ancel due to accusations of “toxic leadership.” Now, producer Guillaume Brunier has left the team, but Francis Coldeboeuf, who led development on Far Cry 6<\/em>, has stepped in to take over the project.<\/p>\n According to Ubisoft, Coldeboeuf has already been involved in the development and is familiar with the project’s intricacies, which positions him well to guide the team towards completion.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Despite the many challenges, there are encouraging signs of progress.
