With new challenges just around the corner, it&#8217;s the talented and hardworking people who make me believe that together we can make the upcoming Witcher saga a remarkable experience. No stopping now! That&#8217;s when CDPR said that they were going to drop REDengine and use Unreal Engine 5. Pawe\u0142 Zawodny, the company&#8217;s technical director, said at the time: &#8220;From the beginning, we did not consider a typical licensing agreement; both we and Epic see this as a long-term, fulfilling technical partnership. It is important for CD Projekt Red to have the technical direction of our next game set at the earliest possible stage, as in the past we have spent a lot of resources and energy developing and customizing REDengine with each successive game release. This relationship is so exciting because it will increase development predictability and efficiency while giving us access to the most advanced game development tools. I can&#8217;t wait to see the great games we&#8217;ll create with Unreal Engine 5!&#8221;<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In the meantime, let&#8217;s talk about Cyberpunk 2077, which was released almost four years ago and has been in a very&#8230; interesting state.
