On Metacritic, the average score for the PC version to date on a scale of 1-100 is only 61, which is not very good, and at the time, gamers were highly critical of the game on Steam. A month after the game&#8217;s release, the UK&#8217;s Advertising Standards Authority launched an investigation into the numerous complaints. A few months later, the court found Hello Games not guilty, but the reception of the game has not changed.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">But Hello Games did not give up. They started to develop and expand the game, and they did it for FREE. This is certainly something we won&#8217;t see from Todd Howard and Bethesda Game Studios with Starfield! Years have passed, and many major updates and a lot of new content have been added to No Man&#8217;s Sky, which has since appeared on every console for the last two generations (and looks good on PlayStation 5 Pro, as we wrote about).<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In September 2021, No Man&#8217;s Sky went from a Mixed rating to a Mostly Positive rating on Steam. Now, a little over three years later, Murray (who also manages the game&#8217;s social media platforms) tweeted that the game has reached another milestone. Now No Man&#8217;s Sky has moved into the Very Positive category, and Murray can&#8217;t believe it. He&#8217;s very grateful for it and says that he can&#8217;t tell you how much it means to the studio.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Congratulations to Hello Games, the studio has come a long way and is now surrounded by fans.
