Oleksandr Usyk, a Ukrainian boxer, had quite a punishing look when he was seen dressed as Agent 47…

Well, he didn’t enter the ring in that outfit (it would have set the Ukrainian boxer back), but what Usyk did was pretty impressive. No, we’re not talking about beating Tyson Fury to defend his heavyweight title. That took skill, stamina and of course some good punches in the ring, but we’re not talking about what he did in the boxing match, we’re talking about what we saw before.

In the video embedded below, Tyson Fury arrives first for the pre-fight press conference. Then Usyk arrives in full Hitman style. Black suit, red tie, black gloves, shaved head and the Ave Maria rendition from Hitman: Blood Money can be heard as he walks in. He’s in full Agent 47 form, and even managed to top it off by carrying a suitcase, but unlike the agent, he’s not carrying a sniper rifle, he’s carrying a picture of Tyson Fury being punched by Oleksandr Usyk, and Usyk has signed it with his opponent!

It’s a bit bold to see Usyk bald, but let’s admit that it’s a style that suits him, and he would be quite dangerous as an assassin. Luckily for us, he doesn’t do that, he’s a boxer… and he’s quite successful at it. We probably don’t need to add that he also beat Tyson Fury this time. Anyway, we’re really curious to know how Usyk ended up cosplaying Agent 47 at the press event. Does he also love the IO Interactive franchise?

The problem is that the Danish team isn’t working on a new Hitman episode (Hitman: World of Assassination, the reboot trilogy’s all-in-one game, is coming to Meta Quest 3 in September instead), but on Project 007. This will be James Bond’s origin story, so IO Interactive will be releasing a young version of the secret agent soon (maybe next year?).
