While Shenmue 3<\/strong><\/em> is in development big time (and according to Yu Suzuki, it might not run at 60 frames per second), a logical question might arise in many: what about the first two games, will these be available for modern platforms? SEGA<\/strong><\/em>‘s European Marketing Director has talked about the possibilities.<\/p>\n According to Jon Rooke, SEGA<\/strong> <\/em>wants to remind players of why they fell in love with the Shenmue<\/strong><\/em> franchise one and a half decades ago on the SEGA<\/strong><\/em> Dreamcast. So he pretty much confirmed that they want to re-release the games. We do have to add that Shenmue<\/strong><\/em> III is going to be out on PlayStation 4<\/strong><\/em> and PC, so a logical step would be to see the first two titles on these two platforms. Maybe they will be out before the third game, as a way to warm us up for the big attraction.<\/p>\n Seeing how SEGA<\/strong><\/em> has formerly moved the Sonic Adventure games out of the Dreamcast to other platforms in the previous generation, it would be a logical move to do the same with the first two Shenmue<\/strong><\/em> games as well.
