Surprisingly, this rumor was very quickly denied by Acti!<\/p>\n Activision<\/strong><\/em> told Game Informer the following: \u201eWe’re not doing that.\u201d However, remember that microtransactions were added into Destiny<\/strong><\/em> in October 2015. An analyst thinks that both the developer and publisher would be able to get hundreds of millions of dollars on top of purchasing Destiny<\/strong><\/em> by using microtransaction<\/strong><\/em>s. (With over 20 million players, it’s possible.)<\/p>\n What’s going to happen with the purple ammo packs and how will the microtransactions<\/strong><\/em> fare?
