On the PlayStation 2, we have seen the <em><strong>WRC<\/strong><\/em> games from them, followed up by the <em><strong>MotorStorm<\/strong><\/em> franchise on the PlayStation 3. Their only PlayStation 4 game was <em><strong>DriveClub<\/strong><\/em>, which launched quite later than they planned. (Not to mention its PS Plus version!)<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Sony<\/strong><\/em>&#8216;s explanation to GamesIndustry is the following: \u201ea competitive landscape can create and produce high quality, innovative and commercially viable projects. It is regrettable that this decision will lead to compulsory redundancies. We accept that this decision will mean that we risk losing high calibre staff but by focusing on other Studios that already have exciting new projects in development we believe we will be in a stronger position going forward and able to offer the best possible content of the highest quality for our consumers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>What&#8217;s going to happen to <em><strong>DriveClub<\/strong><\/em>? Evolution was working on <em><strong>VR<\/strong><\/em>-support for their late-2014 game. (They also pushed out new content for <em><strong>DriveClub<\/strong><\/em> as well, not to mention the Bikes expansion.)
