Avatar 2<\/strong><\/em> was initially meant to be released way back in 2013. But now, it\u2019s pushed back to December 2018, which nearly a decade after the original movie debuted in 2009. Stephen Lang<\/strong><\/em><\/a>\u00a0– who played the main villain \u2013 will retake his role as Colonel Miles Quaritch<\/em><\/strong> – a task which keeps him from becoming Cable in Deadpool 2. Talking to Ain\u2019t It Cool News, Lang also confirmed that the film will begin shooting early in 2017 so it can be released indeed in December 2018.<\/p>\n
Stephen Lang<\/strong><\/em> also admitted that James Cameron<\/strong><\/em> and his Avatar<\/strong><\/em> team have been working on the sequel since the original opened six years ago. The ensemble cast will include returning actors Zoe Saldana<\/strong><\/em><\/a>, Sam Worthington<\/strong><\/em><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Sigourney Weaver<\/strong><\/em><\/a>.
