According to the plot, Gordon Freeman would have traversed Antarctica after his plane being shot down. He&#8217;d find an Aperture Science ship called Borealis, which blinks in and out of time and space. He&#8217;d board the ship, where a fight would happen, and the ending would have left a lot of unanswered questions: Mossman dead, Alyx disappearing with the G-Man, with the Borealis being useless against the Combine&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>You might say that it&#8217;s a fanfic, but remember, Laidlaw said back in June that he wanted to tie up the plot threads related to <em><strong>Half-Life 2<\/strong><\/em>, which would somewhat explain the ending.<\/p>\n<p>Also, Valve turned twenty-one two days ago. 2+1 = 3.
