What a kind gesture by Hideo Kojima…

Guillermo del Toro managed to win no less than four Oscar awards this year for his film called The Shape of Water – congratulations to him. The Mexican movie director is going to be part of Kojima’s next game, Death Stranding, which shouldn’t be canceled, as del Toro seems to have terrible luck when it comes to him and his involvement with games.

First, his game called Insane got killed at THQ, then Silent Hills (where Kojima, del Toro, and Norman Reedus also would have played a significant role) also got shot down by Konami. Del Toro had enough at this point, but his friend managed to lure him back to games.

Kojima congratulated del Toro by making a new photo of him in Death Stranding (or, in the Decima engine, which is borrowed from Guerrilla Games). We don’t see such a friendly gesture often in the gaming industry!

Death Stranding should be a major part of Sony’s E3 2018 campaign.
