Shortly, Sony<\/strong><\/em> will do another massive jump with the system software of the PlayStation 4<\/strong><\/em>, and, as always, a few lucky participants can use the new firmware<\/strong><\/em> before the others.<\/p>\n Sony Interactive Entertainment tends to make one major firmware improvement each year towards the end of each year. 5.00, 5.50, and now, 6.00 – the Japanese company has announced that registrations are open for the beta test for the first 6.00<\/strong><\/em> firmware<\/strong><\/em>. You only have to be over the age of eighteen and have a live PlayStation Plus or a PlayStation Now subscription. You can register until July 27.<\/p>\n Those who have a North American PlayStation Network profile can register here<\/a><\/span>, while the Japanese accounts should look here<\/a><\/span>. The European link isn’t active yet, but Sony should make it work by July 20 – you can sign up from the old continent here<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n Perhaps the 6.00 firmware<\/a><\/strong><\/em> will finally bring the PlayStation Network ID name change, which has been a request for several years.
