The Internet doesn’t forget once again. A since-then deleted tweet has revealed that Blizzard might be planning an animated series for Diablo.

In August, we wrote about how Blizzard teased several Diablo-related projects. One of them could be an animated series, which could be written and ran by the co-founder of BOOM! Studios and the writer of the Hellboy reboot, Andrew Cosby. „I guess I can confirm I am indeed in final talks to write and show-run the new Diablo animated series for Activision and Netflix. It’s very exciting, and I hope to the High Heavens it all works out,” he wrote.

It’s not the first case – in a few weeks, Castlevania’s animated series will receive the second season, and The Witcher’s live-action series is also in development for Netflix, who thus seems to be cranking video game-related content to eleven.

We’re pretty sure that Blizzard will officially confirm the Diablo animated series at BlizzCon in early November…
