Death Stranding is almost like the Yeti of the video games: there a few that have seen it, but the rest of us have not (outside the public airings, of course).

Hideo Kojima, the Japanese genius, published a photo on Twitter that shows the game’s logo on the left side, and on the right display, we see the editing timeline. Later on, he cut the length of the video off the photo, which is suspicious.

But here is the original photo that we have taken from here. The tweet makes an absolutely good point. It says: „Why cut the time on the left of the photo?” The left side, where we can see the length being no less than eight minutes and twelve seconds. That is not short at all, and it’s especially not something made lazily with no effort or passion behind it either.

Don’t forget that Sony will skip the 2019 E3 (the 2018 one was weird as they moved the viewers from one place to another – the 2017 one felt more decent…), so Hideo Kojima isn’t planning the trailer for that event. He already hinted at this trailer at the Tribeca film festival (he revealed more details there, and we discussed it as well), and it’s very likely that he is preparing this monster-length video for Sony‘s E3 replacement State of Play event.

We wouldn’t like to bet on Death Stranding getting a release date at the end of the video. That seems way too out of place after this complete secrecy. All we know at the moment is that Death Stranding was seen by a few people, and it’s coming out on PlayStation 4. Maybe it will happen this year. Maybe it will be a next-gen title, too. Maybe not.

Then, when is the State of Play going to be held? For us, the end of May seems to be realistic, and perhaps the other suspicious game, The Last of Us Part II, might show up during this show that we could watch online.
