Nintendo’s two-and-a-half year’s old platform: the Nintendo Switch got new sales results revealed. The best-seller list has also been updated.<\/p>\n

In its newest financial earnings report<\/a>,<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0Nintendo announced that as of September 30, 41.67 million Nintendo Switch units were sold, and with more than 246.01 million games, an average of 5.9 games was sold along with a Switch. Unlike Sony, Nintendo DID reveal how many Nintendo Switch Lite units were sold since its September 20 launch: 1.95 million.<\/p>\n

It’s a decent result, and with it, the Switch might have already surpassed the Xbox One’s 41 million sales figure estimate, as Microsoft hasn’t been publishing official numbers for a few years now. Still, Nintendo isn’t changing its expectations: between April 2019 and March 2020, they still want to see 18 million Switches sold.<\/p>\n

Let’s see the top ten best-selling first-party Switch titles, as Nintendo has updated the list<\/a><\/strong><\/span>:<\/p>\n

    They also announced that the July 26-released Fire Emblem: Three Houses has sold 2.29 million units.<\/p>\n

    Nintendo has likely no competition for one more year, as both Sony and Microsoft are focusing on their respective next-gen consoles (the PlayStation 5, as well as the Xbox Project Scarlett), which will both launch in late 2020. By April 2020, the Switch might surpass the granddaddy of game consoles, the NES as well with its 49.1 million sold units…<\/p>\n
