The result is shocking: nearly 2200 titles will be gone. ~630 of them are digital-only PlayStation Vita games, ~730 of them are PlayStation 3 games, the <em><strong>PSP<\/strong><\/em> games are just a couple in our case, but the rest is shocking: 293 PlayStation Minis, 336 PS2 Classics, and roughly ~260 PS1 Classics (particularly on PSP and Vita).<\/p>\n<p>They added that the vast majority of the 2200 games are available on older PlayStation consoles or PC, but there are still some that will become Xbox-exclusives Beyond Good &amp; Evil HD, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, Rayman 3 HD, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow \u2013 Mirror of Fate HD, SoulCalibur II HD Online, Resident Evil Code: Veronica X, or the two Bionic Commando games). Still, you will have 120 exclusives that outright disappear into the digital aether after the closure. Some games only got a release on a single platform, with no re-release elsewhere (Infamous: Festival of Blood, Echochrome II, Lumines Supernova, The Last Guy, Rain, Trash Panic, Pain, PixelJunk Racers, Tokyo Jungle, TxK, MotorStorm RC&#8230;).<\/p>\n<p>The saddest part is that there are a few titles that aren&#8217;t even a decade old yet (including the PlayStation Vita games, as the Vita itself didn&#8217;t hit that age yet!). Preservation will not be an easy thing, and legal access will only be presented for those who buy these games.
