He will focus on other leadership duties within the studio. According to <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamesindustry.biz\/articles\/2021-05-27-cd-projekt-appoints-new-game-director-for-cyberpunk\">Gamesindustry<\/a><\/span>, he will play a pivotal role in the CDPR 2.0 transition (we previously talked about how the Poles&#8217; approach to game development is going to significantly change). Badowski is one of those people within CDPR who got a hefty cash bonus at the end of the fiscal year (in April). He got 4.2 million dollars, which didn&#8217;t get much praise within the studio.<\/p>\n<p>The new Cyberpunk 2077 director is Gabriel Amatangelo. He joined CDPR in January 2020 to be the game&#8217;s creative director. Before this tenure, he spent nearly six years at BioWare, where he worked as Dragon Age: Inquisition DLC\u2019s design director and designer on various Star Wars: The Old Republic expansions. He spent over 10 years within Electronic Arts overall.<\/p>\n<p>We wrote this a couple of days ago: \u201eAnd still, Cyberpunk 2077 is not available on the PlayStation Store after Sony removed it in December. Adam Kici\u0144ski, CDPR&#8217;s CEO said the following about this situation: \u201eUnfortunately, I have no new information in this regard. We are still in discussions and with every patch, the game gets better and there is visible progress, but as we said the decision is an exclusive decision of Sony, so we are waiting for the information about the fact that they decided to bring back this game.
