TIPS AND TRICKS – Enjoy Assassin’s Creed Mirage for maybe even FREE (it’s not 100%), but definitely for a third of the price, across multiple platforms, transferring your saves with Ubisoft Connect Multi Access! All you have to do is spend two weeks (then you can even get the story for free), or a month anyway for just £7000. And for this Assassin’s Creed title, a month or even two is enough to get you through!
Video game fans can now take a whole new approach to the world of Assassin’s Creed Mirage thanks to the Ubisoft Connect Multi Access subscription. Ubisoft’s new service allows gamers to enjoy the game on Xbox consoles (Xbox One, Xbox One S, Xbox One X, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S) and PC, allowing them to continue adventuring on the go with Steam Deck.
What is it all about? Well, thanks to Ubisoft Connect’s cross-platform save feature, players can enjoy the highest graphical quality on the latest Xbox Series X console at home, then head out into the world and continue playing on the Steam Blanket, whether it’s a bus ride, a break at work or even a school break. What’s more, if players cancel their subscription within two weeks using the “use my withdrawal right” option, they can enjoy Assassin’s Creed Mirage and other Ubisoft games for free for two weeks, not only on those platforms, but also on GeForce Now, where the game is also available.
Do you have an Xbox console and Steam Deck? You can even “Nintendo Switch” with !
Mirage, the latest addition to the Assassin’s Creed series, was launched in October 2023 and is already proving hugely popular. But Ubisoft hasn’t stopped there, introducing the Ubisoft Connect Multi Access subscription, which brings a whole new dimension to the gaming experience. The subscription allows players to enjoy the best graphics quality at home on a powerful Xbox console such as the Xbox Series X, and when they leave home they can take the game with them on their Steam Deck and continue their quests wherever they go. In addition, the cross-platform save feature allows players to easily import their saves from one platform to another, so they never have to replay the same stage over and over again. This solution is very similar to what Nintendo Switch offers, where players can play on the big console at home and take the game with them on the go.
The Ubisoft+ subscription also offers another great opportunity for players. If someone doesn’t want to buy the full-priced game but just wants to try it out, the subscription allows them to access full versions of Assassin’s Creed Mirage and other Ubisoft games. The cost of a Ubisoft+ subscription is significantly lower than the full price of the game, saving players a significant amount of money. If someone does decide to purchase the game, they can do so later, during a promotional period, and continue to have access to the game even if they no longer have an active Ubisoft+ subscription.
For “tricksters” even for free!
But the Ubisoft+ subscription has one more trick up its sleeve for players. If you cancel your subscription within two weeks using the “use my withdrawal right” option, you can play Assassin’s Creed Mirage and other games for free during the two weeks. In principle, the description of the button says that this is possible, but there’s no information on whether you can actually get your money back if you “abuse” this option and play the game for two weeks and then cancel.) It’s not a huge amount of money for a monthly pre-payment, so it’s worth a try, and then, if you finish in two weeks, you might even get this low amount back.
It should also be added that this option is not only available for PC and Xbox players, but also for GeForce Now users, where the game has also been released. So even if you only want to try the game for a short period of time or don’t have the option to purchase it immediately, you can still enjoy the full Assassin’s Creed Mirage experience – even for free on GeForce Now. With this move, Ubisoft is clearly reaching out to the gaming community and giving them the opportunity to access their latest games as conveniently and cost-effectively as possible.
A wealth of sympathetic solutions – except for PlayStation owners!
The combination of Assassin’s Creed Mirage and the Ubisoft Connect Multi Access subscription is a truly exciting way for players to enjoy the game with the greatest possible flexibility, whether playing at home or on the go. Ubisoft’s innovative solutions further strengthen its position as a leading player in the gaming market and show how combining the gaming experience with user convenience can benefit gamers.
Finally, it should be mentioned that unfortunately the above solutions are not available on PlayStation platforms, as Ubisoft + Classic, which can be enjoyed as part of PlayStation Plus, only includes some of the older games (and they are gradually being reduced), and Assassin’s Creed Mirage is not included. Well, it looks like PlayStation fans have been left out of the loop again…
As for the test of Assassin’s Creed Mirage, you’ll have to wait, because the Hungarian distributor Cenega won’t give you a press code, so we started the game with you on the day of release, using the above method. But we are on it, hard!
