Is Europe Already Experiencing a Lack of the Three Strongest Nvidia GeForce Cards?

TECH NEWS – A retailer received an unpromising response about the GeForce RTX 5090, RTX 5080, and RTX 5070 Ti.

Currently, most Nvidia GeForce RTX 5000 and AMD Radeon RX 9000 GPUs are in stock at major retailers. However, some retailers are already having difficulty replenishing their inventory. As we recently reported, GPU prices will rise significantly at the start of the month, primarily affecting the European region.

One retailer complained on Reddit that their distributor canceled several GeForce RTX 5070 orders, citing limited stock. The distributor can reportedly only provide five units of each model, so orders above that number were canceled. The retailer claims that they will not receive any more GPUs besides RTX 5070s worth €20,000. The list of canceled models includes cards such as the Zotac RTX 5070 Solid and the Gainward RTX 5070 Ti Phoenix.

A screenshot attached to the distributor’s email explains why the single RTX 5070 Ti model ordered was canceled. Apparently, the distributor does not have any RTX 5070 Ti, RTX 5080, or RTX 5090 models to sell to the retailer. The email states that the market situation is unstable and that the distributor cannot sell anything other than the RTX 5070. The retailer adds that Amazon’s business division also significantly limits the number of units retailers can order.

Regarding AMD RDNA 4 GPUs, the retailer says the RX 9070 XT is available again but may soon face supply constraints. Several sources have told us that AMD will soon raise GPU prices, so it would not be surprising if the RX 9000 series sold out in some regions. The absurd AI boom is currently the main reason for the price increases, making it almost impossible to build a gaming PC at a reasonable price.

Therefore, we can safely conclude that building a new PC cheaply in 2026 will be difficult.
