According to multiple outlets, he has been under an eviction notice for his Los Angeles rental home since last December, and he has now turned to GoFundMe to seek community support – with a target of $59,100 to settle his most immediate outstanding debts.

“The goal is simple: to give Mickey stability and peace of mind during an extremely stressful time, so he can stay at home and have the space he needs to recover”, the campaign page reads. The fundraiser is said to have the consent of the star of Iron Man 2, The Expendables, and The Wrestler – the latter earned him a Golden Globe and an Academy Award nomination.

Titled “Support Mickey to Prevent Eviction”, the campaign was launched last Sunday by Liya-Joelle Jones, a member of his representation team.
