PlayStation Plus Essential: What Games Are Coming in February 2026?

Another month has wrapped up, meaning Sony must once again inform subscribers which titles will be available at no extra cost for a limited time.

We had grown used to the absence of leaks around PlayStation Plus Essential, but this time it happened again. The source was once more billbil-kun, who has previously provided accurate information about which games PlayStation Plus subscribers can add to their accounts, regardless of tier, and access for as long as their subscription remains active. According to the leak, February’s headline title would be Undisputed. But did it really make the final list?

The leak proved correct yet again. February’s main title is indeed Undisputed (PlayStation 5), a boxing game. That said, it is fair to question whether this is the strongest choice, as sports titles do not usually shine as the leading game of the month. The second game is Subnautica: Below Zero (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4). The third title follows Sony’s usual indie pattern, with Ultros (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4) joining the lineup. There is also a fourth game, Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown (PlayStation 4). That means three out of the four titles are playable on PlayStation 4 as well. So much for the earlier messaging that PS4 support was no longer guaranteed.

As a reminder, three January titles remain available until Monday, leaving a short window to grab them. January’s headline game was Need for Speed Unbound (PlayStation 5), which had previously been offered to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members. The second game was Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4). The third was the familiar indie pick, Core Keeper (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4). Even though PS4 titles are no longer officially guaranteed from January onward, two of the three January games were still available on that platform.

The February games will be downloadable from February 3 through March 2.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
