GTA 6 Title IDs Appear on the PlayStation Store – Pre-Orders Could Be Next

Two new title IDs for Grand Theft Auto VI have surfaced in the PlayStation Store database, a classic sign that backend work is underway and pre-orders may be getting closer – potentially with multiple editions.

Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto VI (often shortened to GTA 6) is still being kept on a tight information leash, but a familiar storefront signal just popped up. Two separate title IDs have appeared in the PlayStation Store database, which typically happens when a publisher is preparing listings, packages, and the plumbing needed for pre-orders.

The IDs were spotted on X by @GTAVI_Countdown and are listed as PPSA01547_00 and PPSA29660_00. The presence of two distinct IDs usually hints at more than one edition, such as a standard release alongside a higher-tier bundle with extras.

Price is the next obvious pressure point. GTA 6 has long been expected to test an $80 threshold, but the appearance of title IDs does not automatically mean pre-orders will go live immediately. What it does suggest is that the backend work is real, not hypothetical.

Rockstar’s marketing push is expected to ramp up during the summer. If that timeline holds, it aligns neatly with the moment publishers often open the checkout line – and once that happens, details like editions and pricing should become harder to dodge.
