MOVIE NEWS – Hollywood legend Steven Spielberg, now 79, says he won’t tease fans any longer. After skillfully building suspense through trailers and carefully dropped hints, he promises a major presentation that will clear up every question about his new film, Disclosure Day.
Disclosure Day’s big reveal comes on March 13 at SXSW. (The week-long South by Southwest festival, held every year in Austin, Texas, takes stock of current music, film, and tech trends with many of the biggest names in each field.)
With Disclosure Day, Spielberg returns – after a long break – to one of his favorite subjects: we are not alone in the universe. After iconic alien-themed hits like Close Encounters of the Third Kind and E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, as well as War of the Worlds, he likely still has something new to say.
One headline-grabbing detail: the composer is 94-year-old John Williams, marking his 30th collaboration with Spielberg.
