TECH NEWS – The leading consumer technology company announced that the Curve Pay contactless payment solution is now available in more than 30 European markets, including all member states of the European Union, as well as the United Kingdom, Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein. The service can now also be used on a wide range of Huawei smartwatches, including the HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate 2 and HUAWEI WATCH 5 models, as well as the full HUAWEI WATCH GT 6, HUAWEI WATCH GT 5, and HUAWEI WATCH FIT 4 series.

The expansion began with the integration of the recently introduced HUAWEI WATCH GT Runner 2, a model designed specifically for professional and amateur runners, with advanced GPS-based positioning and tracking features.

This is not merely a feature expansion: with this move, Huawei is responding to one of the most common user demands, namely that simple and secure contactless payment should also be available on wearable devices. Through the integration of Curve Pay, the company is taking a significant step toward resolving one of the most important user concerns related to Huawei wearables – the limited availability of applications – and thereby offering an even more complete digital experience.

Contactless payment has now become an integral part of everyday life, and Huawei remains committed to making this option available simply and securely, even without a smartphone. With Curve Pay, users can pay directly from their watch while managing their bank cards through a single interface, and they can even modify transactions afterwards if needed. The system also offers advanced security solutions, such as automatic protection in the event that the device is removed from the wrist.

Curve Pay is currently available in more than 30 European countries, including Hungary. To use the service, users need to download the Curve Pay app from HUAWEI AppGallery, the App Store, Google Play Store, or the Galaxy Store, then pair it with their compatible Huawei smartwatch.
