Blizzard Entertainment‘s decision to expand two games in the franchise may come as a surprise.
The upcoming expansion of Diablo IV calls players back to Sanctuary to confront Mephisto’s growing influence. Players will engage in an epic battle against the Lord of Hatred himself while experiencing significant gameplay evolution. Experience the heavy-metal might of the Warlock against the divine light of the Paladin. These two heroes stand at opposite extremes in the fight against Mephisto.
Diablo IV offers a unique take on the Warlock, defined by metal chains, flames, and the ability to turn the wrath of Hell against itself. More information about the Warlock in the Lord of Hatred expansion will be revealed in a live developer update on March 5 at 11 AM Pacific, broadcast on the Diablo YouTube and Twitch channels.
New endgame systems give players greater control over progression and challenge. War Plans introduces customizable activity paths that allow players to shape their endgame experience. Meanwhile, the rare Echoing Hatred encounters push builds to their limits through escalating waves of increasingly difficult enemies.
The final showdown with Mephisto takes place in the ancient region of Skovos. New characters, quests, and monsters await players as they explore ancient, Mediterranean-inspired landscapes where humanity first emerged. Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred will be released on April 28 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
Diablo II: Resurrected has also been released on Steam. It also received a new add-on: Reign of the Warlock introduces the Warlock character to the game. The DLC costs €/$25, but if you purchase the Infernal Edition of the game, you won’t need to buy the add-on separately. Diablo II: Resurrected is available on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
Why hasn’t a Diablo game been released for the Nintendo Switch 2 yet?
