Titanfall’s sequel may have a future on the PS4. Vince Zampella, who is the CEO at Respawn recently spoke with GameInformer during a massive, and interesting interview in regards to the future of Titanfall and the developer team.
Interesting tidbits, that with the game’s season pass DLC done, Respawn has actually formed a second team who is working on another game, which isn’t Titanfall. Of course we cannot expect to see much yet about this project in 2015, though. Zampella told also that Respawn’s next year will be about “figuring out what we’re doing and really kind of honing in on what the next games will be.”
Gameinformer also asked about the possibility of a “multi-console version” of Titanfall in the future. Zampella had the following answer: “I’ve already said future projects will not necessarily be exclusive.”
Zampella’s careful wording does make it sound like Titanfall could be a timed-exclusive title, if anything.
As for Titanfall itself, the game is doing quite well sales wise on the Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC with nearly eight million units sold.
