TeamKill Media immediately aims for two generations with its „cosmic horror.”
According to the developers, Quantum Horror is going to be an FPS that tries to make us scared in the sci-fi genre, but we can’t say much about the game itself going by the teaser. It was made with in-engine footage (Unreal Engine 4), and it shows how the game’s development is progressing, but it doesn’t represent what the final retail/PlayStation Network version will be capable of. The video was recorded on a PC, but with settings that will be similar to what the PlayStation 5 will be capable of.
Quantum Error is TeamKill’s second game. The first one was Kings of Lorn: The Fall of Ebris, which launched in 2018 on PlayStation 4 and PC. The game itself is one of the earliest titles that are confirmed to be in development for the PlayStation 5 – a few other examples would be Godfall (developer: Counterplay Games, publisher: Gearbox), Lord of the Rings: Gollum (Daedalic Entertainment), or Watch Dogs: Legion (Ubisoft). That’s not much. And if you don’t want to buy a new machine because of Quantum Error, don’t worry – the game will also come to the PlayStation 4.
The devs revealed on Twitter that their goal is to hit 4K resolution, but during optimization, they might push or pull a few features. Raytracing is confirmed, the 60 frames per second seems like a target, and they also said that the PlayStation 5 is easy to develop for. The physics are planned to be the same on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, so the two consoles will offer the same experience in this aspect.
We are going for 4K. Obviously when we get to a point of optimization we’ll see if we have to push or pull certain features.

At the moment (!), only PlayStation platforms are targetted, meaning it could be a timed exclusive before it heads to the Xbox Series X or PC.
Not yet. Just PlayStation.

As of right now it is planned to be single player only.

There are no plans for a multiplayer component – right now, it is planned to be a single-player game.
So far, so good, but we have no idea when it could launch.
