The premiere date for the upcoming Diablo II Resurrected beta has been leaked to the internet, most likely via the official Microsoft Store.
Last month, Blizzard announced that the next beta for the highly anticipated remaster would launch later this month. “This August, players can experience the latest changes first-hand! The Gates of Hell will briefly reopen, allowing players who pre-order Diablo II: Resurrected to enter the Sanctuary in the early access beta,” they wrote in a blog post. “Soon after, all players (on PC, Xbox and PlayStation) will also have the opportunity to face the demons of Burning Hells in the open beta”.
Blizzard hasn’t given an exact beta launch date, but if a now-removed Microsoft Store post is believed, the Diablo II Resurrected beta will launch next week, on 17th August. As we’re told, the reference to the beta has already been removed from the store, but an eagle-eyed Reddit user managed to snap a screenshot of the date before it was released. All we know is that the beta will feature one of five playable classes to face the minions of hell. Each of them is highly customisable, with countless build and equipment options.
Diablo II Resurrected is scheduled for release on 23rd September for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC.
