Forget about starting a romantic relationship with Iron-Man, Wolverine, Captain Marvel and others in the tactical RPG Marvel’s Midnight Suns.
Although rumoured for months, it was not until this week that Marvel’s Midnight Suns were officially presented, a tactical role-playing video game signed by Firaxis and set in the darker side of the Iron-Man universe, and that will allow establishing solid ties of friendship. Among the great heroes of the publishing house, but not to form romantic couples as confirmed by those responsible in several talks.
Jake Solomon, creative director of the video game at the studio responsible for the XCOM saga, explains in an interview with GamesRadar that players will be able to travel to an abbey where Hunter, the protagonist of this new adventure, will be able to connect with the rest of the team members, favouring later a more significant connection on the battlefield. But there it all ends, there will be no romances, “only very close friends. ”
“Trust me, if I could romance Blade, I would, but yes, it’s more a case of these are very well-defined characters. So instead, it’s deep, deep friendship,” says Solomon in the US portal.
As they remember in The Gamer, Marvel Entertainment may not have favoured the possibility of creating couples very far from the canon in the publishing house, so there will be no opportunity to fall in love with Wolverine and company. Remember that Marvel’s Midnight Suns will allow you to team up with characters from the Avengers, X-Men and Runaways, among other groups, with faces so iconic among fans of the comic book firm such as Iron-Man, Captain America or Doctor Strange.
With Marvel’s Midnight Suns, the House of Ideas continues the excellent streak in video games for consoles and PCs. They recently released a new expansion dedicated to Black Panther in Marvel’s Avengers. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy will arrive in September, an action and adventure title to enjoy alone.
