The Slender Man is one of those Internet memes that spawned in various works. For the Slender Man, there has been many online stories already written by people, lots of videos and short films, and last but not least, a video game as well.

Slender: The Arrival, as the video game is officially called, was recently spotted at the European ratings board, PEGI. The game will be coming to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Slender: The Arrival was out on the PC last year, and on the PS3 and Xbox 360 a few months ago. Soon, there will be a next-gen version as well, where we expect it to look a lot better.

The Slender game is known for being very low key — until the Slender Man appears in various jump-scares throughout the game. Don’t let that fool you, it’s still a properly scary game. As Alfred Hitchcock would say, the suspense is in the anticipation…
