Update 2.00 brought us many new features, one of the main ones was the ability to directly upload videos to our personal Youtube account. Does it work ? Is it hassle free and worth to use it. Short answer is yes !

The system let’s you record 15 minutes of continuous footage per segment. When I tried it was pretty good and quick, although there was a bit of an error at first, and failed to upload. But after the second try the upload was already on my youtube account with footage from Shadow Of Mordor.

Before uploading the system will ask you to merge your PSN account with your youtube account, and after that every upload will just go to your “upload folder” to the account.

It’s a great way to upload some good footage from game sessions.
YouTube app is now available for download via the PlayStation Store for free from the 28th of October 2014.
