Sony’s Shawn Layden started The PlayStation Experience with an awesome gameplay video of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.The video shows Nathan Drake strolling out of a cavern on the island we saw from the short trailer earlier in 2014. The gameplay is similar to the standard Uncharted ones: Drake making quips based on what he sees, lots of climbing, and his pants getting wet. A Thief’s End even takes some ideas from the recent Tomb Raider title with Drake using a pick to scale certain walls.
However the gameplay video showcased some improvements with this new installment. Upon entering combat, the weapon information is shown at the bottom left of the screen as opposed to the top left like in previous titles. Drake can even toss out a rope to swing across gaps. One new feature is similar to the Assassin’s Creed games and Shadow of Mordor: Drake can hide in the vegetation to surprise enemies with stealth kills.
