At the Sony’s PlayStation Experience in Las Vegas last week-end, the creative director at Santa Monica Studios: Cory Barlog confirmed that the next God of War game is currently in development during a series retrospective. While silent on details, he did however stated that it would not be a prequel to Kratos’ adventures – which is kind of logical since God of War: Ascensions was the prequel.

No date has been set so far for the newest legend-slaying hack-and-slash. Still, we can expect more details to be available at some point… Maybe in the next two years, or perhaps sooner.
