There’s a quite massive leak from Star Wars: Battlefront. We already saw something similar, when the game was recorded at E3 with a camera – despite an embargo -, but it got topped quite quickly. Now, we get to see three videos of the alpha version. These total up to 44 minutes in length, although it looks like this is the PC version, judging by the mouse cursor… but as these are direct feed recordings, it’s really worth taking a look at these videos!
We see more of Hoth and Tatooine, and both environments look great – if DICE is going to be able to have graphics somewhere close to this on consoles, we won’t be disappointed in this aspect. The sounds are also alright, but it’s sad that after Battlefield 4’s 64-player multiplayer matches, Battlefront is cut down to just (?) 40, despite BF4 easily capable of keeping 64. The game will be out on November 17 in the United States and November 20 in Europe for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The game must sell 9-10 million copies until March 31, 2016, which is quite a high bar to jump…
