Sony Computer Entertainment’s London Studio has been working on a game for a while. However, London Heist debuts in video format for the first time ever – and it seems to implement virtual reality (and therefore, Project Morpheus) in a serious way, making London Heist’s video debut quite nice. In case we have to use guns, we will be able to do so with Move Motion controllers. Also, we will have the opportunity to explore as well, but it is not seen on this video in order to keep the PlayStation 4’s framerate higher. (We don’t think the interrogation part would be troublesome to render in 60 frames though!)
The demo doesn’t seem that long, plus it isn’t looking graphically impressive, but the variety of gameplay elements still make London Heist promising. 2016 will be interesting for virtual reality, that’s for sure. Maybe this game will be flagship title for the unavoidable virtual reality revolution in the future? We can’t answer that yet…
