Star Wars Battlefront: Battle of Jaku DLC just got announced. The game isn’t even out yet, but we already know about one of the DLCs – this is a little ridiculous, but it happened, as Electronic Arts and DICE presented the Battle of Jaku DLC, which will launch for preorderers on December 1 (sharing the same day with Just Cause 3, which is kind of a bad move in our opinion), and it will be available for everyone else on December 7 for free.
We haven’t seen much from this DLC yet (not surprising, the game is out in two and a half months, so…), only artworks. The story of Battle of Jaku will actually connect up to Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens: it will actually be a prequel to the movie, as the DLC’s storyline predates the movie’s by 29 years. This is a genial move by EA and DICE, because more viewers might actually go to the cinema. The DLC will focus on a crash-landed Star Destroyer and it seems to be featuring dogfights as well, not just regular shooting. It might be interesting.
Also, the Star Wars Battlefront bundles will be exclusive to the PlayStation 4, so Xbox One owners will not be able to get one.
