The PlayStation 4 is facing some nice updates, and we don’t just talk about the upcoming 3.00 firmware, which is being beta tested at the moment, The PlayStation Store, which is one of the most important services for the consoles, has received a facelift, but only in North America it seems. However, we’d really think that it would be a somewhat stupid move to keep this look only in the NA region, it’s almost 100% possible that it will be taken to Europe too, giving a unified look around the world in the process.
It looks similar to the previous style, but there are more links to bigger games and movies – resembling the Xbox look somewhat. The Store also seems to look a bit more clean, because now it’s easier to see which item belongs to what category, making scrolling over the list easier. Finding obscure/older games however will be an issue, because it will require using more search engine usage… Therefore, it might be one of the negatives of updating the PlayStation Store. EU release is not confirmed yet.
