Media Molecule, the developers of Tearaway knew that their game, which was released originally on the PlayStation Vita two years ago, wasn’t that bad, so it got a little facelift – and renamed to Tearaway Unfolded -, and a port over to the PlayStation 4. It’s already going to launch on Tuesday, September 8 with a 40 dollar price tag on Blu-ray and on the PlayStation Store as well.
The game runs on 1080p/60fps, but there is more than a visual upgrade to Unfolded. The storyline got slightly expanded, and the game also received a Companion App, which would allow a friend of ours to play the game with us (even on the PS Vita – we already wrote about the Companion App on our site).
However, there was something happening on Facebook related to this game. PlayStation Asia’s FB page has linked a review of this game with the following text: „It may be another tacit admission that the Vita is dead, but at least this incredible, surprising game did not die with it.” Unsurprisingly, this quickly got removed and edited…
