Another game is moving to the PlayStation 4, although it’s not a PS3 or an earlier console game, instead, we’re talking about a(n up to now) PC-exclusive FPS. Flying Wild Hog’s Hard Reset was released in 2011, bringing pretty much the classic first person shooter style: shooting anything and anyone that moves, while having a ton of weapons to choose from, with an added flavour of cyberpunk style, which actually suited Hard Reset quite nicely.
This game is going to be launching on the PlayStation 4, and there’s also a video of the game’s console port in action. It’s not bad, but honestly, we would rather pick up a sequel to it instead of the original game – the Polish dev team should work on that instead in our opinion. EA’s COO Peter Moore was right – there is really an onslaught of ports and remakes due to not having creativity for new ideas at the moment.
Whatever, the release date wasn’t announced yet. Our (flying) wild guess would be that Hard Reset will launch around January 2016 in digital format only, because we don’t see Hard Reset ending up in Blu-ray format.
