On Tokyo Game Show’s Sony conference, four new DualShock 4 colours as well as several new faceplate colours were announced for the Japanese market. Compared to the amount available there (mainly due to third-party manufacturers), the European colour line-up isn’t going to be that massive, but it’s still going to be better than nothing.
We will receive four colours: Neon Orange, Aqua Blue, Red and Clacier White. These will be available from November 18 in Australia and the United Kingdom. It would be a bad move on Sony‘s end to not make it available throughout Europe, so the other countries are likely to get the new hard drive covers at a slightly later date.
Sony also plans to launch them in the North American region as well, but they will do so in a later date. They have not revealed a starting date for this area though, which is somewhat weird. Will they miss out on this Holiday season rush? Or is it that they don’t know when they will have a big enough stock for the audience over there?
