In case you played 2008’s Call of Duty World at War, you might be familiar with this map below, because WaW’s Der Riese map was the inspiration behind this year’s Giant level. However, you can’t get it that easily. You either have to buy the Season Pass for Black Ops III, or get one of the limited editions of the game to have Shadows of Evil’s this map.
We can see some gameplay on this map in the trailer below. In case you don’t really feel the 1940’s film noir style in this small clip, it’s alright, because several hundred bullets are being let loose in this short period of time. The ambience seems to be okay, the question is that how will the gameplay fare actally…?
One more thing about the November 6 launch dated game on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. The previous generation console versions (being handled by Beenox and Mercenary Technology) will not only lack the campaign entirely, but it will also not have a Season Pass! It’s pretty much about time to upgrade…
