Capcom is holding several Resident Evil marshmallows into the fire. While they are working on 6’s – so far unannounced – current-gen port, the second game is also getting a complete remake, not to mention 0’s HD remaster. We already knew about 0 HD Remaster‘s release date: it’s going to arrive on January 19, 2016, on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PC, Xbox One and Xbox 360. Now, we also know about pre-ordering bonuses.
0 HD, which will also have a modernized control option, will provide some (digital) pre-ordering extras: Billy and Rebecca will get a new costume each. Billy will get a Wolf Force costume, and Rebecca can dress up as a cheerleader. It’s surprising that it’s not even banned yet in the West, like a certain Dead or Alive Xtreme 3…
Luckily, Capcom will double dip in January: next month, Resident Evil Origins Collection will be launched on the previously mentioned five platforms. This will include 1’s, and 0’s HD remaster – in case you missed out on the first game’s (great) modernization, you should get that package instead. It will also be out physically, too!
