PlayStation Plus got its first 2016 list of free games revealed at the end of 2015, so here’s a respectful nod towards Sony. Let’s take a look at what the PlayStation Plus subscribers are going to get in January, shall we?
As usual, the PlayStation 4-owners will receive two games. One of them is going to be Hardware: Rivals, an online vehicular combat game. It had a beta for PS Plus subscribers at the end of September and it wasn’t that great. The other game is Grim Fandango Remastered – it’s alright, but you can pick Tim Schafer and co.’s game up for a cheap price.
PlayStation 3-owners get another fine treat, as Bioware’s Dragon Age: Origins is one of the freebies for the month – the other one’s Medal of Honor: Warfighter. For the PlayStation Vita, we can expect Nihilumbra and Legends of War Patton. (And also Grim Fandango Remastered – it’s PS4/PS Vita.)
This is still quite weak, dear Sony. This isn’t a good start to 2016 – get yourself together, please. The games will get into action on January 5.
