DigitalFoundry still provides us high-quality videos, whether they are framerate analysis, presentation of the console ports’ differences or showing us the original game and the remake/remaster side by side. They did this with Capcom’s upcoming Resident Evil 0, as they put the GameCube original (ran on the Wii) and the PlayStation 4 port side by side in an almost 14-minute long video. There’s also a shorter graphics comparison with the Xbox One version as well.
In the first video, it was perfectly presented that 0 got pretty much the same treatment as the first game’s remaster by pulling off the graphical upgrades exactly how we expected. Better lighting, better textures and shadows – RE0make was tuned up the way it should be. What about the differences between the current-gen versions? Surprisingly, they are identical – last year, the PS4 port looked a little bit better.
Resident Evil 0 HD will launch tomorrow for PS4/PS3/X1/X360/PC, so you don’t have to wait any longer.
