Slowly, the development of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is about to finish as we’re just a few weeks away from hearing the master disc complete to make copies for the physical versions. (And as for the digital, it’s just a question of uploading it to the PSN.) The collector editions are also progressing nicely: one of them, the Steelbook Edition, was shown by Neil Druckmann (the creative director of UC4) on Twitter.
„Reviewing Uncharted 4 Steelbook proofs. Looks even more gorgeous in person.” – he says. This is the exact Steelbook Edition that was leaked by the German Amazon website in December (we immediately wrote about that). Since then, another version called the Plus Edition was also leaked, not to mention the other, already announced editions. Nathan Drake‘s story will end with this game; however, Sony owns the Uncharted IP, so there may be new games as prequels or with a new protagonist in the future.
Uncharted 4 will launch on April 26 as a PlayStation 4-exclusive unless the game gets delayed once more.
