When Fallout 4 was announced, we heard a few details about the mods, too. On the PC, the game is getting mods regularly since the launch (that’s been over two and a half months ago, how time flies). However, the console versions of Bethesda Game Studios‘ post-apocalyptic adventure are still modless.
While the developers said that a few – probably the best of the crop – will certainly be available on consoles, they didn’t even say a possible time frame for this to happen. No wonder that Fallout‘s Twitter account was asked about the console mods.
Unfortunately, the answer is the „usual we say something, but it means nothing” response: „We’ll be sharing more details soon. Stay tuned.” We know that the Xbox One version will get the mods first – that’s not surprising given how Microsoft’s console had a Fallout 4 bundle. If we had to guess when the PlayStation 4 will get mods, we’d say somewhere during Spring…
…unless Bethesda makes us wait until the launch of the first DLC.
