The new X-Men: Apocalypse Trailer is Here!

MOVIE NEWS – 20th Century Fox has released the new X-Men: Apocalypse trailer, which brings more footage from the much anticipated Bryan Singer movie.

Since the dawn of civilization, Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe was worshiped as a god. He amassed the powers of many other mutants and became immortal and invincible.

When he awakened after thousands of years, he was disillusioned with the world as he saw it and recruited a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse humanity and create a new world order, over which he will reign.

The fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, so Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save humanity from complete destruction.

James McAvoy is Charles Xaver in X-Men: Apocalypse stars, Michael Fassbender is Magneto, Jennifer Lawrence is Mystique, Nicholas Hoult is Beast, Rose Byrne is Moira MacTaggert, Lucas Till is Havok and newcomers Alexandra Shipp as Storm, Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, Ben Hardy as Angel, Tye Sheridan as Cyclops, Olivia Munn as Psylocke and Lana Condor as Jubilee. Oscar Isaac is starring as the film’s title antagonist.

The movie is told to be the conclusion of a trilogy started with X-Men: First Class and continued with X-Men: Days of Future Past, the Bryan Singer-directed X-Men: Apocalypse is set for release on May 27, 2016.
