Milestone doesn’t give up: they still have the Grand Prix motorcycle racing world championship license, so 2016’s MotoGP game will not focus only on the season – instead, Italian racing legend Valentino Rossi is going to be in the focus.
The Italian developer team has visited Valentino Rossi‘s personal racetrack. 12 drivers can race against each other on this dirt track with variable conditions. Why did Milestone make a trailer for this? Let’s hope they will include this track, as well as Rossi’s foray into Formula-1 (Valentino tested a Ferrari!), and his WRC tries. If these will all be implemented in the game that comes out on June 16 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, we will be surprised, to say the least.
Still, we’re somewhat wary of the VR46 game – last time, the Loeb title wasn’t that memorable and Milestone doesn’t tend to do great games recently. Perhaps Valentino Rossi: The Game will be the beginning of their turnaround…
