MOVIE WEB – Spider-Man learns The Winter Soldier has a nasty metal arm for the first occasion in a new trailer from Captain America: Civil War. Just ten short days to go and Marvel will start its Phase 3 lineup with the huge Captain America: Civil War, which not only breaks the MCU as we understand it but also begins with two new highly-anticipated superheroes.
This big-screen action flick gives us our very first look at Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) and Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who will both be also present in their standalone adventures hitting theaters over the next few years. To praise the 10-day countdown, Marvel has revealed a new TV spot, which features never-before-seen footage of Spider-Man in action.
We had our first look at Spider-Man in the second trailer for Captain America: Civil War that appeared last month, where we discovered that the young Spidey took the side of Team Iron Man. The studio also showed a footage at CinemaCon that shown Peter Parker coming home, only to discover Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) present in his living room with Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), to discuss a “grant” opportunity for Peter Parker. This newest TV spot, courtesy of the Captain America Twitter page, contains a scene we didn’t have the chance to see before, throughout the big ‘splash page’ airport combat, where Spidey swings into action to get Falcon before he must fight The Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan). Even though Parker can’t help but remark on how “awesome” Bucky’s metal arm is.
Captain America (Steve Rogers) commands the newly formed team of Avengers in their constant efforts to defend humanity in Captain America: Civil War, which is set in the aftershock of Avengers: Age of Ultron. But after one more incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure increases to install a system of accountability, supported by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo breaks the Avengers, resulting in two camps, one commanded by Steve Rogers and his aspiration for the Avengers to stay free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other ensuing Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.
