The PlayStation 4‘s stronger model is also getting leaks recently.
The PS4 NEO was not shown at E3, but Andrew House, SIE’s CEO has confirmed its existence before the Los Angeles game Canaan event. With the stronger model, Sony doesn’t want to replace the original model from 2013, but to expand the line-up similar to how Project Scorpio over at Microsoft.
A Twitter user named Tidux wrote that the „NEO is coming this year, at 399$ 399€ and 349£.” That price is exactly how much Sony‘s console cost at launch, so if this post isn’t containing false information, it will make sense.
So we can expect the PS4 NEO at either Gamescom or Tokyo Game Show because the PSX 2016 in December would be ridiculous. „Here’s the PS4 NEO, oh by the way, out in a few days, everyone!” It also would be presented a bit too late in 2016, so the previous two events seem much more likely.
