Battlefield‘s official Twitter account has recently revealed that a beta is coming shortly. „There’s news coming about the #Battlefield 1 Beta. Become an Insider so you don’t miss it.” According to DICE‘s website, „become a Battlefield Insider by subscribing to EA’s newsletter. Get early access to the Battlefield™ 1 public beta, in-game rewards, exclusive content, and sneak peeks at news about Battlefield (plus news about other EA games, services, and events).

With this move, Electronic Arts‘ trend seems to continue by offering a sneak peek of their upcoming AAA games with a public beta. Star Wars Battlefront, which had multiple millions of players, as well as Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst, have both had success with their beta testing phase.

It won’t be surprising if we see a Battlefield 1 beta sometime in August on PS4/X1/PC for the game that launches in October.
